Chard Mangold Rainbow

A mix of colored variety with 24-28 inch (60 – 70 cm), majestic colored stems stems that are crowned with large leaves of green or bronze. The flavour is deliciously mild and packed with nutritional content. Vigorous plants with a long growing season will provide fresh greens from spring to late autumn and even year-round in temperate climates. Can be grown in ornamental borders or in a patio container ****************************************************************************************************************** Sow thinly April-July, where they are to crop, 2.5cm (1") deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Allow 40cm (16") between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Thin seedlings to 15cm (6") apart. Water well until plants are established. Regularly pick a few leaves and stems at a time, without stripping the plants, allowing them to continue growing. Harvest: July-Nov
