Dense Blazing Star Pink (Liatris )

Perennial plant. The stem is erect, strong, 50-70cm high. Peduncles are dense, 25-35 cm long, consist of small, fluffy flowers, collected in arrow-shaped inflorescences, pink in color. Seeds are sown in open ground in April-May. It is used for growing in group plantings, flower beds and for floristic decoration of bouquets. Start indoors using trays and sterile potting mix. Gently press seeds into the surface of the soil, and lightly cover the seeds. Keep the flower seeds moist until germination and transplant outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Best temperature to germinate - +18-+22C. Germination time - 3-4 weeks. To sow seeds outdoors after frost season has passed, prepare soil and spread flower seeds. Rake seeds into soil and cover no more than 2 mm with loose, fine soil. Keep wildflower seeds moist until germination.
