Annual plant, with creeping side shoots, 50–70 cm long. Flowers of a funnel shape, 7–9 cm in diameter, red. They are grown by sowing seeds in the soil in May - June or for earlier flowering, through seedlings in March - April. Blooms profusely from June to late autumn. Used for flower decoration of balconies, garden vases and hanging pots.
